Simple Past Tense – Positive Sentences
e.g. I read. = Naenu chadhivaanu.
He read. = Athadu chadhivaadu
They read = Vaaru chadhivaaru
You read. (Singular) = Nuvvu chadhivaavu.
You read. (Plural) = Meeru chadhivaaru.
She read. = Aame chadhivindhi.
We read. = Maemu / manamu chadhivaamu.
Uncle read.
= Maamayya chadhivaadu.
Teacher read = Guruvu gaaru chadhivaaru.
Simple Past Tense - Negative
e.g. I didn’t read. = Naenu chadhavalaedhu.
Chadhuvu + laedhu = Chadhavalaedhu
You didn’t read. (Singular) = Nuvvu
chadhavalaedhu
You didn’t read. (Plural) = Meeru
chadhavalaedhu
He didn’t read. = Athadu chadhavalaedhu.
She didn’t read. = Aame chadhavalaedhu.
We didn’t read. = Maemu / manamu
chadhavalaedhu.
Younger brother didn’t read. = Thammudu
chadhavalaedhu.

Positive
e.g. I read/I will read. = Naenu chadhuvuthaanu.
We read or We will read. = Maemu/Manamu
