Absolute Beginner Level - Telugu Speaking Practice Session – 25/3/2022 - Telugu meanings of sentences using the word "see"

Let us revise the following pronouns

 

I - Naenu

You – Nuvvu / Meeru

He – Vaadu / Athadu

She - Aame

We – Manamu/Maemu

They – Vaaru/Vaallu

 

Commonly used verbs

 

Ask = Adugu

Read = Chadhuvu

Write = Vraayu – Verb in base form, Vraayi – Imperative

Look/see = Choodu

Hear/listen = Vinu

Sing = Paadu

Eat = Thinu

Go = Vellu

Buy = Konu

Come = Vacchu – Verb in base form / Raa – Imperative / raavadam – Gerund form

Drink = Thraagu / thaagu

Send = Pampu / pampinchu

 

Look/see

Look/see = Choodu – Verb in base form / imperative

Look/see = Choodandi (Imperative with respect/plural)

Don’t look/see = Choodavaddhu

 

Simple Past Tense – Positive Sentences

e.g. I saw. = Naenu choosaanu.

You saw. (Singular) = Nuvvu choosaavu.

You saw. (Plural) = Meeru choosaaru.

He saw. = Athadu choosaadu.

She saw. = Aame choosindhi.

We saw. = Manamu choosaamu. (including the listener.) / Maemu choosaamu.

They saw = Vaaru choosaaru.

Daddy saw = Naanna choosaaru.

Lakshmi saw = Lakshmi choosindhi.

 

Simple Past Tense - Negative

e.g. I didn’t see. = Naenu choodalaedhu.

You didn’t see. (Singular) = Nuvvu choodalaedhu.

You didn’t see. (Plural) = Meeru choodalaedhu.

He didn’t see. = Athadu choodalaedhu.

She didn’t see. = Aame choodalaedhu.

We didn’t see. = Maemu choodalaedhu.

They didn’t see. = Vaaru choodalaedhu.

Big brother didn’t see. = Anna choodalaedhu.

Younger sister didn’t see. = Chellelu choodalaedhu.

Humsha didn’t see. = Humsha choodalaedhu.

 

Simple Past Tense - Questions (Negative/Positive)

Positive Past Tense Questions:

Did you see? (Singular) = Nuvvu choosaavaa?

Did you see? (Plural) = Meeru choosaaraa?

Did he see? = Athadu choosaadaa?

Did she see? = Aame choosindhaa?

Did we see? = Maemu choosaamaa?

Did they see? = Vaaru choosaaraa?

Did younger brother see? = Thammudu choosaadaa

Did Nirmala see? = Nirmala choosindhaa?

 

Negative Past Tense Questions:

Didn’t you see? (Singular) = Nuvvu choodalaedhaa?

Didn’t you see? (Plural) = Meeru choodalaedhaa?
